Rudolph"Rudy"Alfarone Florence, SC Rudolph"Rudy"Alfarone, 82, passed away Thursday, Dec 8, 2011 in Jacksonville, Fl. Rudy was born in Brooklyn, NY, and the son of the late Joseph and Angelina Alfarone. Rudy served in the US Marines during the Korean conflict and retired from Union Carbide/ESAB after 46years.He is a long term parishioner of St Anthony’s Catholic Church and was on the original building committee of the current church in Florence. He is survived by his wife of 61years, Gloria of Jacksonville, Fl and two brothers, Richie(Joan) and Joe Jr (Maddie) ; three children, Barbara(Jack), Mark, David and three grandchildren; Lauren, Christopher, and Max. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St Anthony’s Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
