Rose Marie Perkins

Rose Marie Perkins, 76, of Florence, SC passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Mrs. Perkins was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late James Woodrow McCracken and Lillian Gladys Collins McCracken.She retired from Cardell Carter Automotive and was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.Family and faith were everything to Rose Marie.She was an especially staunch supporter of her family and fierce protector of her grandchildren, and was so proud to be a Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Raferd Perkins; and brother, Wayne McCracken. Surviving are her son, Jeff (Kristen) Perkins; grandchildren, Cameron Perkins and Joseph Perkins; brothers, Larry (Helen) McCracken and Danny McCracken; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church, 1300 2nd Loop Road, Florence, SC29505. Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held at Highland Park United Methodist Church with entombment to follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.However, you are invited to drive-by to speak to the family at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021.Please enter the church parking lot by turning onto Marsh Avenue, circle around behind the church on Rutledge Avenue using the new entrance to the church, speak to the family while remaining in your vehicle and exit onto 2nd Loop Road.Thank you in advance for respecting the wishes of the family.
