ROSE ANN SOCHA JOHNSON HARTSVILLE, SC Rose Ann Socha Johnson, 74, of Hartsville, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Mrs. Johnson was born in Poniatowski, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Frank Socha and Lucy Nowicki Socha.She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hartsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murray Junior Johnson; brothers, Joe Socha and Edmond Socha; sisters, Leona Westphal and Elmira Greiner. Surviving are her son, James Lamar Matthews of Florence; daughters, Cheryl Matthews (Honorable Thomas Russo) Russo, Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Matthews and Dawn Matthews (James “Craig”) White, all of Florence and Ashley Lauren (Richard Christopher) Byrd of Lexington, SC; brother, Lawrence Socha; sisters, Joan Seagraves, Lorraine Flasch, Mary Ann Guilonard and Regina Suchorski; grandchildren, Holly Lee Matthews, Heather Lynn Garcia, Jessica Rose Matthews, Justin James Matthews, Payton Rose Russo, Darby Erin Russo, Thomas Anthony Russo, Jr., Tyler Christian Byrd and Zoey Ashlyn Byrd; great-grandchildren, Nathan Gabriel Matthews and Brenden Daniel Garcia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Tommy and Cheryl Russo’s residence, 202 S. Barrington Drive, Florence, SC29501. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Church at Sandhurst. A Mass Intention with all of Rose’s children present will be held at 5:30 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hartsville on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
