Ronald "Skeeter" Alexander Isgett

Ronald Alexander “Skeeter” Isgett, Sr., 63, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Isgett was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late James Edward Isgett, Sr. and Catherine J. DeLoach Isgett.He was a graduate of Southside High School in 1969 and was of the Baptist faith.Mr. Isgett was a Mason and a member of the Omar Shrine. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas D. Isgett, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Linda S. Thigpen Isgett; his children, Marcie I. Marshall and Ronald A. “Ski Bo” Isgett, Jr. both of Florence; his grandchildren, Cameron Isgett and Preston B. Marshall; his brothers, James (Jan) E. Isgett, Jr. of Moncks Corner and Paul W. Isgett of Florence; his sister, Lynn (Maxie) Yarborough of Florence; sister-in-law, Susan Isgett of Darlington and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014, at Unity Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the church and other times at the residence of his sister, 2236 Clearview Drive, Florence.
