Rona "Ronnie" Allen, 62, of Florence, South Carolina, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born July 6, 1963, in Dillon, South Carolina, Ronnie was the daughter of Leila P. Jordan and the late William H. Coleman. She earned a master's degree in Special Education from Francis Marion University and dedicated much of her life to helping and encouraging children through both her work and her compassionate spirit.

Ronnie was deeply devoted to her family. She stood faithfully beside her husband, Jerry, and was unwavering in her love and support for her children, Will, Jeri, and Jacqueline. She would have done anything for them, and they remained at the center of her heart throughout her life.

Her family brought her great joy, especially the time she spent with them. She was a devoted mother and a proud and loving grandmother. Known as "Mimi" to her grandchildren, Kye William Phillips and Jameson Jordan Sexton, she cherished every moment she shared with them and took great joy in being part of their lives. Ronnie was also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gerald Allen; her father, William H. Coleman; her stepfather, Wallace H. Jordan; and her stepmother, Rosa Coleman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, William McLean Allen, Jacqueline Ann Allen, and Jeri Elizabeth Allen and Jimmy; her beloved grandchildren, Kye William Phillips and Jameson Jordan Sexton; her mother, Leila P. Jordan; her sister, Lura C. Marsh and her husband, Britt; her brothers, Wallace H. Jordan Jr. ("Jay") and his wife, Tara, and John Parham Jordan and his wife, Melissa; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Ronnie will be remembered for her kind heart, her dedication to children, and the deep love she had for her family, especially her treasured role as "Mimi." Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
