Roger Keith Jarvis

Roger Keith Jarvis, Sr., 68, of Florence and formerly of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Roger was born in Lexington, a son of the late Floyd and Dorothy Gallimore Jarvis. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and was a self-employed Paint Contractor in Lexington. Surviving are his sons, Roger Keith (Elizabeth) Jarvis,Jr.,Sidney Jackson Jarvis, Shane Lee Jarvis, and their mother, Dollie Howell; step-daughters, Stephanie Morgan, Amanda Bailes and Lisa Marie Kibodeaux; brothers, Richard Dale Jarvis, Robert Neil Jarvis and Ronald Eugene Jarvis; sisters, Kathy Jarvis Maddy, Carolyn Jarvis Hanes and Becky Jarvis Cornatzer; grandchildren Elizabeth Jarvis, Seith Jarvis, Shane Jarvis, Jr. and Tori Jarvis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Marie Jarvis, his brother, Thomas Christopher Jarvis and a sister, Sandra Leigh Kearns. The family will receive friends from 11:30 til 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Freedom Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 12:30 P.M. in the church, with burial following in Salisbury National Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home of Florence.
