Rodney Wayne Collins

Rodney Wayne Collins, 53, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026.

He was born in Fayetteville, NC, the son Judy Pulley Collins and the late Kenneth Austin Collins. Mr. Collins was a 1990 Wilson High School graduate, who dedicated more than 20 years to working in construction. He treasured working with his hands and spending time with his beloved children. Mr. Collins enjoyed fishing, boating, watching DIY shows, cheering on his favorite football team, Clemson, in his spare time. He was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Austin Collins; brother, Bryan Kelly Collins; paternal grandparents, Horace and Ruth Alford Collins; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Ruth Sweat Pulley; aunts, Peggy Butler and Nancy Harrelson; and uncle, Harvey “Buddy” Pulley.

Surviving are his sons, Austin Collins, of Livermore, CA, Sean Collins, of Livermore, CA, and Waylon Lloyd of Florence, SC; mother, Judy Pulley Collins; and Amanda Collins (Wife).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Children's Fund, 233 North Price Road, Florence, SC 29506.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Mizpah Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the church. Burial to follow at Mizpah Cemetery.
