ROBY W. PRUITT, SR. FLORENCE, SC Roby W. Pruitt, Sr., 74, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, surrounded by his family. Mr. Pruitt was born in Covington, TN, a son of the late Earnest Pruitt and Annie Cook Pruitt.He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.Mr. Pruitt had been an employee with Tupperware for twenty-five years and was a self-employed logistics manager. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife of56 years, Darlene McCauley Pruitt; sons, Roby W. (Teresa) Pruitt, Jr., Ron (Donna) Pruitt and Anthony Pruitt; grandchildren, Heather Pruitt, Brandy Pruitt, Jessica Pruitt (Randy) Hatchell and Kelsey Pruitt; great-grandchild, Avery Pruitt Hatchell; sister, Nancy Kiestler and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends and associates. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nine siblings. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 5, 2017 at Greenwood Baptist Church.Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
