ROBERT DANIEL “DANNY” WILKES, JR. FLORENCE, SC Robert Daniel “Danny” Wilkes, Jr., 29, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015. Mr. Wilkes was born in Florence, SC a son of Robert Stone Wilkes and Cheryl Dodge Wilkes.He was a graduate of Wilson High School in Florence and worked at Midwest Regional Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.Danny was a giving and loving person who was always willing to go above and beyond for others. Surviving are his parents of Florence; brother, James (Ashley) Robbins of Pamplico; sisters, Lorie Wilkes and Victoria (Brent) Hudson, both of Florence, Melanie W. (Andy) Herring of Latta and his twin sister, Tracy (Jason) Lamb of Marion; maternal grandmother, Joyce Dodge of Florence; paternal grandmother, Evelyn O’Reilly of Johnsonville and his special cat, Ally.Danny also had many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who dearly loved him and will miss him. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
