Robert Ervin Weaver

Robert Ervin Weaver, 85, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Mr. Weaver was born in Gastonia, NC, a son of the late George W. Weaver and Mary Odette Stephenson Weaver.He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.Mr. Weaver was a truck driver for over twenty-five years, retiring in 1988. Surviving are his two sons, Gene Douglas (Myra) Weaver of Gastonia, NC and Dennis Lee Weaver of Florence; three daughters, Brenda (Ronnie) Zimmerman of Gastonia, NC, LindaKimbrell of Effingham, SC, and Robin (Alvin) Hewitt of Effingham; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his sister, Linda Muse, of Rock Hill, SC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Weaver is predeceased by his wife, Joyce McNabb Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Northgate Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.A private entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
