Robert Marvin Lee Cagle 07/26/1938 – 06/21/2021 Florence South Carolina, Robert “Bob” Marvin Lee Cagle, age 82, formerly of Effingham passed away peacefully Monday, June 21, 2021. He was a graduate of North Caddo High School and attended Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Bob was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing and teaching his Sunday School class. Bob was a loving husband, great father, and loved Jesus Christ. Early in life he worked hard as an ironworker/pipefitter and enjoyed doing projects by himself. He loved Dallas Cowboys and Clemson Football. Bob truly was a family man. He enjoyed his grandchildren more than anything. He would love to tell stories and joke around. Bob had an uncanny ability to connect with people and make them laugh no matter the occasion. He is survived by his wife, Jewel Cagle, his son Rocky Cagle (Kristin), with Grandchildren Carson and Emery Cagle of Florence. His Son Lee Cagle of Charleston. His Son Robert Cagle Jr. of North Carolina. His sister Rose Hamersley (Guy) of Indiana. He is predeceased by his father Marvin Oliver and his mother Ema Lou Cagle. His brother J.E Cagle and his sister. Kathryn Whitehead. The visitation will be held at Stoudenmire Dowling Funeral Home on Thursday June 24th, at 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 25th, at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
