Robert E. Lee

Robert E. Lee, 61, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Mr. Lee was born in Flint, Michigan a son of the late Grady L. Lee and Iola Bellamy Lee.He had worked for the City of Florence and had been a member of Quinby United Methodist Church where he was a greeter, usher, and had been a trustee for over 17 years.In October of 1989, he worked on a crew with the clean up effort from the damage Hugo caused. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth A. Lee; step-daughter, Theresa L. Griebel; brothers, James Lee and Grady Lee, Jr. Surviving are his step-sons, Franklin T. (Teresa) Adams of Jennings, OK and Kevin R. (Detta) Adams of Darlington; grandchildren, Rebekah Foster, Ryan Griebel, Aaron Eades, and Logan Eades; great-grandchildren, Natalie Foster, Victoria Foster, Raven Foster, Logan Foster, and Adeline Brown; sister, Madeline McDougall of Zephyrhills, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
