Richard Dennis Ward

Richard Dennis “Ricky” Ward, 55, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. He was born July 12, 1960 in Florence, SC, son of Mary Ann Andrews Turner and the late Edward Richard Ward. He was formerly employed with Honda in Florence and was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple. Ricky loved football, especially watching his beloved Clemson Tigers. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Florence, include his step father, Ken Turner; two sons, Richard Derrick Ward of Florence and Aaron Ward of AZ; a brother, Kenneth Andrew Ward of Aiken, SC; a sister, Lisa Arlene King of Cincinnati, OH; and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 18 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
