Richard Earle Hill

Richard Earle Hill, 72, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015. Mr. Hill was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Thomas Darrel Hill and Virginia Viola Teale Hill.He worked with Stone Container as a maintenance mechanic for forty years and had served as shop steward. Mr. Hill was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughter, Patrice Hodge; grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Hodge, Lauren Hodge, Win Hodge and Joshua Hodge; a number of nieces and nephews; and brothers, Thomas Allen Hill and William Ronald Hill (Wrenda Seigler). Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
