Richard Jack Floyd

Richard Jack Floyd, 60, of Florence County, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Mr. Floyd was born in Florence, a son of the late Lloyd G. Floyd and Monique J. Floyd.He was a master craftsman plumber at Francis Marion University.He was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church and served on the Board of Trustees for the church. Mr. Floyd loved fishing and the outdoors and had a big heart for animals. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Floyd, Ronnie Floyd, Teddy Floyd and Stevie Floyd. Surviving are his wife, Grace Clark Floyd; his sons, Richard (Jamie) Floyd and Andrew (Andy) Floyd, both of Florence; his grandchildren, Hunter Floyd, Sara Floyd and Annagrace Floyd; his step-mother, Martha Floyd; his brothers, Tony Floyd of Georgia and Lloyd Floyd of Florence and his sister, Monique L. Bowes of Roxoboro, NC. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church.
