Reggie LeRoy Brown, born September 15, 1935 in Wilton, ND, the son of Lester and Orbra Brown (née Hannifield) died peacefully at his home on May 28, 2015 after a brief illness. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Willa Brown.He is survived by his wife, Sandy McCants and his two sons Tregg and Rhett.In addition he is survived by Tregg’s wife Beth and four loving grandchildren: Cameron Brown, Brittany Brown, Rebecca Brown, Reid Brown and Rhett’s partner Carl Brinson. Reggie exhibited a zest for life that was unmatched by many.His warm and engaging personality endeared him to all. Reggie never met a stranger or was faced with a challenge he didn’t think he could overcome.Reggie was a leader in the business community for over 25 years as owner of the Aamco Transmissions in Florence and actively pursued his numerous hobbies of golf, hunting, fishing, wood working, reading, and dancing. Reggie has created fond memories for all those that had the fortune to know him and he will be missed greatly but never ever forgotten. There will be a celebration of his life on May 29, 2015 from 4-7 pm at his home at 2216 Timberlane Dr., Florence SC.
