REV. H. REEDY SAVERANCE Pamplico, SC Rev. H. Reedy Saverance, 90, of Pamplico, SC went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, June 2, 2016 after a brief illness. Rev. Saverance was born in Timmonsville, SC son of the late Ellington Severance and Carrie Windham Severance.He was a graduate of the Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN and a WWII veteran of the United States Navy.He served for over 60 years pastoring churches in Arkansas, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina and founded Cherryvale Free Will Baptist Church in Sumter.He was an avid volunteer for McLeod Regional Medical Center and received many awards for his civic service throughout his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Edra W. Saverance; his daughter, Regan S. Roberts and eleven siblings. Surviving are his wife, Annie G. Saverance of Pamplico; children, Diedra “Dee” (Mike) Yoe , Shannon S. Pavnick, Marlee S. Stewart, Joel H. (Julia) Saverance, Leslie S. (Greg) Pizzuti, Nathan G. (Tracy) Saverance and Gail H. (Bobby) Mincey; grandchildren, Scott (Molly) Lyle, Rollie (Kimber) Roberts, Jonathan (Michelle) Roberts, Rachel Roberts, Heath (Claudia) Pavnick, Cary (Barrott) Dowdy, Justin (Stacey) McKinney, Jesse (Amanda) McKinney, Harlee (Dan) Skelton, Margaret Saverance, Paul, Matthew and Adam Pizzuti, Kailon (Brian) Jacobs, Nathan Saverance II, Eric and Joshua Mincey; twenty two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC29541. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Saturday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
