Ralph Gray

RALPH GRAY EFFINGHAM, SC Ralph Gray, 68, of Effingham, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013. Mr. Gray was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Comer B. Gray and Corrine Broach Gray.He retired as maintenance supervisor at Marlowe Manufacturing/Klearknit after 28 years and, in his retirement, loved to spend time with his buddies at the Huddle House. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, C.B. Gray, Larry Gray and James Ivey Gray. Surviving are his sons, Ralph Shane Gray and Dwayne Jordan, both of Florence; daughter, Christina Gray of Effingham; sisters, Irene Jump and Nancy McGee, both of Effingham, Loretta Passailaique of Summerville, Ester Brooks of Beaufort and Mary McKissick of Florence; grandchildren, Tyler Shane Gray, Gabriel Gray, Gavin Gray, Amber Jordan Rheuark, Dwayne R. Jordan, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Autumn Rheuark and Summer Rheuark. Memorials may be made to Piney Grove Church of God of Prophecy, 2808 West John Paul Jones Road,Effingham, SC29541. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
