Powell Otha Hutchinson

Powell Otha Hutchinson, 72, of Quinby, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Hutchinson was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Otha Bryant Hutchinson and Ruth V. Benton Hutchinson.He was an account executive with WBTW for thirty-five years.Mr. Hutchinson was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Wilson and brother, J. C. (Annette) Hutchinson. Surviving are his wife of forty-three years, Carole Bellamy Hutchinson; children, John Cole Hutchinson, Ashley (Jose) Ross and Jessica (Michael) Ross, all of Florence and three grandchildren, Anna, Hannah and Connor. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Florence Humane Society, P. O.
