Phyllis Vaciana Thomas Scott

Phyllis Vaciana Thomas Scott, 91, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Ms. Scott was born a daughter of the late Roslyn Estella Wilson Thomas and Jeremiah Thomas. She had worked in food service at a local hospital in Jamaica, WI. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Scott; brothers, Henry Thomas, Keith Thomas, Cephas Thomas, Roy Thomas, Hentley Thomas and sisters, Fern Cyril and Josephine Thomas. Ms. Scott is survived by her sons, Evol Scott of New Jersey, Warkah Scott (Doxey) of Brooklyn, NY and Dennis Burke (Shirley) of Florence, and; daughters, Yasmin Lawrence (Adrian) of Long island, NYand Marcia Scott of Florence and; grandsons, Dwight Scott, Warkah Davin Scott, Duwayne Scott, Adrian Lawrence, Jr., Damian Lawrence and Ghidyyon Burke; granddaughters, Sheryl Scott, Nicole Scott, Roniek Scott,Rhonea Davina Scott, Lisan Scott, Toyra Scott, Simone Blake, Fhallon Burke and Rhyli Burke; and a number of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am Friday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 3, 2020 in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.Due to the current COVID-19 social distancing will be observed.
