Peggy Ann Colson

Peggy Ann Colson, 65, of Effingham, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Mrs. Colson was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Johnny Llewellyn and Betty Joyner Llewellyn. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Joey Llewellyn. Surviving are her husband, William R. “Billy” Colson of Effingham; son, Ernest Dinsmore of Florence; daughters, Gina Spradlin of Florence and Nova T. Player of Columbia; step-daughters, Carol C. White of Florence, Elizabeth M. Colson of Hartsville and Billie Jo Patrick of Timmonsville; sixteen grandchildren; brother, John Tilman Llewellyn of Florence and sister, Debra Leach of Florence. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
