Peggy Bell Collins

Peggy Ann Bell Collins, 73, of Florence, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Mrs. Collins was born a daughter of the late Effie Virginia Dean Bell and James William Bell.She was a retired credit union office manager and a member of Willow Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Legrande Collins; brothers, Cecil Bell, Bill Bell, Thomas Bell, Bobby Bell, George Bell and Johnny Bell, and nephew, Pete Bell. Mrs. Collins is survived her daughter, Effie Virginia Lee (Thomas Lee); nieces, Debbie Bell Holcomb, Peggy Bell Trezzia and Linda Bell Griffin; nephews, Joe Bell and Bobby Bell; special friend and caregiver, Martha Garrison, and friend, D. R. Dennis. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Willow Creek Baptist Church, 3089 North Old River Road, Florence, SC.Burial will follow in the Church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the Church. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
