Pauline Suggs Miller Florence, SC Pauline Suggs Miller, 79, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 in a Florence health care facility after an illness. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in the Chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born in Loris, SC a daughter of the late Erby and Ruth Durant Suggs.She graduated from Green Sea High School and later from Carolina Commercial College. She retired from Vulcraft after 29 years of service. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Elbert Suggs and sister, Inez Suggs Reese. Surviving are her loving husband, Walter E. Miller, Sr. of the home; sons, James E. (Mary) Miller and Walter E. (Mary Ann) Miller, Jr. both of Florence; brother, Carlisle (Jeannette) Suggs of Anderson; grandchildren, Shelley Dewitt, Amber Miller and Kyle Miller; great-grandchild, Conner Kreese. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Funeral Home and other time at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. James E. Miller.
