Paul Levon Johnson, 70, of Maggie Valley, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Mr. Johnson was born in Florence, SC, the son of the late Dorothy Barr Johnson and George H. Johnson. He was a talented carpenter and loved his family. He enjoyed life in the mountains and watching the wildlife (especially the squirrels and chipmucks). Mr. Johnson was just a humble, precious man.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Diane Johnson; son, Charles Phillip Johnson, and his sister, Margaret Anderson.

Surviving are his son, Eric (Morgan) Johnson; daughter, Rhonda Johnson; grandchildren, Marley and Max Johnson, Chelsea Stone, and Fortune and Valerie Johnson; sisters, Thelma (Danny) Ray and Carolyn (Larry) Lutz; brother-in-law Gene Anderson and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Stoudemire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
