Paul Dennis Grimes

Paul Dennis Grimes, 55, of Effingham, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Grimes was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a son of Paul Louis Grimes and the late Betty Bowen Grimes.He was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a carpenter. Surviving are his special friend, Julia Hudson and her family; his sisters, Christy Grimes and Robin Cahoon (James); a brother, Larry Bowen; nieces, Lisa Seidman, Tina Cahoon, Trisha Cahoon and Crystal Smith; and nine great-nieces andgreat-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014, graveside at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
