Paul Eugene Elmore

Paul Eugene Elmore, 51, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 after a brief illness. Mr. Elmore was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late William Kelly Elmore, Sr. and Emma Lee Russ Elmore. Mr. Elmore worked with Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home for over 26 years. Paul was a member of South Florence Baptist Church. He was an extremely loving man, with a heart of gold, who adored his children, family and friends. Surviving are his sons, Steven Paul Elmore, Nicholas Eugene Elmore and Dalton Walker Elmore; brothers, Steward William (Dee) Elmore, William Kelly (Mamie) Elmore, Jr. and Jerry Lee Elmore; sisters, Patricia E. Allen, Linda E. (Tommy) Hatfield and Barbara E. (Dale) Ford; his first grandchild on the way; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Lee Elmore. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2017, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
