Patricia Annette Taylor Ashby

Patricia Annette Taylor Ashby, 72, of Florence SC, died Friday, September 4, 2026.

Patricia, more affectionately known as "Patsy" was born in Florence, South Carolina, a daughter of the late William "Bill" Fulton Taylor and Helen Price Taylor. She graduated from Southside Highschool. She was avid basketball and softball player in her youth and an exceptional caretaker for her children and husband as an adult.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tony Clark Ashby. 

Surviving are her two children, Jennifer Ashby Durant and Timothy Clark Ashby; and four grandchildren, Jalen Christian Durant, Toni Amaya Durant, Tyler Ashby, and Tiera Ashby.

The family is being assisted by Stoudemire- Dowling funeral home and visitation will be from 3:00 PM -5:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the funeral home.
