Paraskevi Stabolitis, 78, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, in a Florence hospital. Mrs. Stabolitis was born in the Village of Fidakia, Karpenitiou,Evritanias, a daughter of the late Demetrios Leris and Konstadia Pappas Leris.She and her husband were married in 1959 and immigrated to Florence, South Carolina that same year. She was an active life-long member of Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church.She was also a member of Philoptochos and Daughters of Evritania.Mrs. Stabolitis was a devoted wife and mother.She worked with her husband, Angelo Stabolitis since 1973 at Angelo’s Seafood Restaurant. Surviving are her husband of fifty-four years, Angelo Stabolitis, her children, Vasiliki Collins of Charlotte, NC, Larry (Lucinda) Stabolitis of New Hampshire, Johnny (Rita) Stabolitis of Texas and Jimmy Stabolitis (Diane Eaddy) of Florence; six grandchildren, Katherine Collins, Alexandra Collins, Evan Collins, Lucas Collins, Joanna Stabolitis and Evan Stabolitis; her brother, George (Maria) Leris and her sister, Effie Kremidas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. There will be a Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2014, at the church. Memorials may be made to the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church, 2990 S.
