Pamela Lanier Shaw

Pamela Patrice Lanier Shaw, 51, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at a local hospital. Mrs. Shaw was born in Aiken, SC, a daughter of Ann Reeves Lanier and the late Donald “Donnie” Lanier.She was an active member of The Greater Vision Tabernacle in Mars Bluff and a very active participant in the Recovery Community.Mrs. Shaw loved birds and nursed and cared for many of them.She loved animals and loved being sober, but most importantly loved her Lord and Savior. In addition to her mother of Darlington, she is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Phillip Shaw; her son, Drew Cohn; her brother, Donnie Lanier, Jr.; her sister, Valerie Kruska and her brother-in-law and his wife, Stephen and Sandra Shaw. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Owl’s Club International, P. O. Box 7607, Florence, SC29502.
