ODETH DALE COLLINS FLORENCE, SC OdethDale Collins, 45 of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in a local healthcare facility. Mr. Collins was born in Sanford, Florida, a son of William David Collins and Ruby Alvilda Medlin Collins.He was a US Army veteran and worked for Industrial Machine and Fabrication. Mr. Collins loved hunting and fishing and aggravating everybody around the oak tree.He loved being a father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Lynn Collins. Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Justin Collins of Florence and Kayla Collins of Coward; his grandchild, Adyson Spires of Coward; his siblings, Russell Collins of Pamplico, Ronald Collins of Lake View, Robin (Mark) Hayes of Effingham, and Jackie (Alex) Ard of Florence; a number of nieces and nephews and a very close family friend, Paula Moore of Florence. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 26, 2013, in the Chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow in the Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family.
