Odell Poston

Odell Poston, 87, of Florence, passed to his Heavenly home on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a long illness. Mr. Poston was born January 27, 1933 to the late Jolly Raymond (Chunk) Poston and the late Eulee Barnhill Poston.He was a member of Hillside Free Will Baptist Church in Florence. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers, Buster, Clarence, Jessie, Raleigh, Burney, Archie, Zannie, Norvell, Luddie (Lottie), Ervin (Willie Jean), and Manly (Elmina) Poston. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris Turner Poston; half brother, Leon Poston, as well as many nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Mill Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Johnsonville, SC.Please observe social distancing and mask precautions due to Covid-19.
