Norman Keith Dionne

Norman Keith Dionne, 66, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Keith was born in Bennettsville, SC a son of the late Norman E. Dionne and Frances Virginia Mims Dionne.He was a member of the first graduating class of West Florence High School and a member of the Elks Lodge #1020 where he was a past Exalted Ruler.Keith was an avid stamp and coin collector, reader, and hiker of the mountain trails of the Appalachian, of which he was a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.He also enjoyed golfing and camping during his free time. Surviving are his brothers, Tim (Susan) Dionne and Rick (Lynn) Dionne, and nieces and nephew who he treated as his own children, Ellen Dionne, Rachael Dionne, and Mark Dionne. Memorials may be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, www.appalachiantrail.org. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
