Nelson "Nick" Leon Melton

Nelson “Nick” Leon Melton, 62, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Mr. Melton was born a son of the late Robert Lindell Melton and Carol Joyce Cooper Melton.He loved woodworking, BMW motorcycling, RVing and all the rescue dogs his wife talked him into, Ikey, Cesar, Cloie, Lil Bit and CJ. After 42 years of service he had retired from Stone Container. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother, James Lindell Melton. Mr. Melton is survived by his wife, Debra Anthony Melton; sons, Brad Mauney (Lynn) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Adam Melton (Tabitha) of Darlington, SC and Brandon Mauney (Crystal) of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Tanya Faucett (Stan) of Ft. Mill, SC and Kimberly Thomas of Lancaster, SC; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Curtiss Melton (Gail) of Scranton, SC and sister-in-law, Hope Melton of Bakersfield, CA.
