Nadine Harrell Ollis passed away on December 8, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House. Born July 2, 1924, in Florence, SC, she was the daughter of the late Annie Smith Harrell and Hezekiah L. Harrell.She married her late husband, Hayes S. Ollis, on August 6, 1941 and they were married for seventy-four years.They enjoyed music and traveling. Mrs. Ollis was a member of Eastside Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.Also her grandson, Michael Kirk Gray. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Shirley Ollis Gray (Wilda) of Sardis, SC and Betty Ollis Coleman (Wilbur) of Darlington, SC; granddaughter, Kim Reynolds (Ricky) of Florence; great-grandsons, Cody Reynolds of Cummings, Georgia, Brandon Gray and Jason Gray of Darlington, SC and great-granddaughter, Hannah Reynolds of Florence; and her special caregiver, Bonnie Mixon. She had a beautiful love for her family and found great joy spending time with them. She had a great love for enjoying the simple beauty of this life and to know her was to love her. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017, in the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel, with the family visitation one hour prior to the service.Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Pastors Scott Hill and Chad Costello will be officiating.
