Nadine Locklair Hayes

Nadine Elizabeth Locklair Hayes, 74, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015, after a sudden illness. Mrs. Hayes was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late O. C. Madison Locklair and Letha Mae Floyd Locklair.She had worked for GE, Electro Motive and Honorage Nursing Home where she worked as a dietitian. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Harry Lee Locklair, Frank Locklair, O. C. Locklair, Jr. and Paul Locklair; sister, Nita Locklair Lane and a son, Kenneth Madison Hayes. Surviving are her husband, Ernest K. “Bubba” Hayes; sons, Mitchell Hayes, Tracy (Susie) Hayes and Richard Hayes, all of Florence; sisters, Catherine L. Weatherford of Pamplico and Diane L. Baker of Williamstown, KY; grandchildren, Hunter Dean Hayes and Breanna Elizabeth Hayes and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hayes was a loving mother to her four (4) boys.
