MYRTLE HATTIE PARKER COLLINS FLORENCE, SC Myrtle Hattie Parker Collins, 85, of Florence, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Collins was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late Otta Parker and Lela Pate Parker.She was a member of Liberty Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest Allen Collins. Surviving are her children, Ernest (Brenda) Collins and Connie Dianne Collins, both of Florence, SC; her brother, Mack Parker and her sister, Hazel Parker, both of Florence, SC; a granddaughter, Janet (Thomas) Brown of Knoxville, TN and two great-grandchildren, Colin Brown and Reed Brown. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, P. O. Box 100551, Florence, SC29502. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
