Monica Bradley Johnson

Monica Bradley Johnson, 52, of Florence, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born in Florence, SC a daughter of Mildred Phillips Bradley and the late Randolph Bradley.She was baptized as a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church and served as an alterperson and Girl Scout.She graduated from Wilson High School, Class of 1983, earned her Associates Degree from Florence-Darlington Tech and had attended NC A&T University.After college, she decided to go to her present church, New Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she is a member.Mrs. Johnson was a Steelers fan.She had a beautiful smile, was always willing to help and loved her grandkids and baking. Surviving are her husband; Kendrick Johnson of Florence; her mother, Mildred Bradley, of Florence; special aunt, Debra Parnell of Florence; mother-in-law, Judy Johnson of Florence; daughter, Keyanna German of Florence; sons, Tyquan Johnson and Kendrick Johnson, Jr.; daughters, Tysheena Johnson, Kendrieona Johnson and Kendriena Johnson; grandsons, Nigel German and Maison Bailey; sister, Miranda Faye Johnson, of Florence and a host of cousins. Memorials may be made to the New Ebenezer Baptist Church, 307 S. Ravenel Street, Florence, SC29506. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday at New Ebenezer Baptist Church.Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
