Mitchell Edward McGee, Sr., 61, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Mr. McGee was born in Florence, a son of the late Billy Edward McGee and Addie Vermel Tunstall McGee.He was a welder with Vulcraft. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Diane Elizabeth McGee. Surviving are a son, Mitchell Edward (Jennifer) McGee, Jr. of Florence; a daughter, Tiffany Denise McGee of Greenville; step-children, Angela Harrington, Blake (Beth) Murphy and Brooke (Grady) Watford, both of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Cole McGee, Nate McGee; step-grandchildren, MatthewHarrington, Andrew Harrington, Tori Murphy, Skylar Murphy, Brooke Murphy, Debbie Brown, Clay Wedgeworth, Colby Wedgeworth, Zac Wedgeworth and Tristen Wedgeworth;three brothers, Charles Wayne (Teresa) McGee of Hartsville, Ralph (Tammy) McGee and Johnny Ray (Tammy) McGee, both of Florence;a sister, Donna J. (Greg) Roerk of Indiana, and his very close friend, Tony Cooper, who was like a brother to him. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
