MIRIAM “POLLY” TEAL CAMPBELL COCKRELL Florence, SC Polly Campbell Cockrell, 86, of Florence, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House.She was everyone’s “Aunt Polly”.Heaven was a buzz with joy as a throng of her loved ones lined up to welcome her. Mrs. Cockrell was born in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Lonnie Archie Campbell and Alice Teal Campbell.She graduated from Marion High School and retired as a floating teller for Anderson State Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Fletcher Waters Cockrell and sister and best friend, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Moody. Surviving are her niece, Mary Alice Veal of Mars Hill, NC and nephew, Alan Moody of Cincinnati, OH. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 306 Cherokee Road, Florence, SC29501. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
