Minnie "Jackie" Jacqueline Blackmon

Minnie Jacqueline Blackmon, 83, of Hartsville, SC, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Blackmon was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late William Adolph Isgett and the late Minnie Harrell Isgett.She was a charter member of North Hartsville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, participated in the Sunbeam Missions and was a former RA Group Leader.She was a homemaker and affectionately known as Miss Jackie by her church and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Rupert W. Isgett. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Alvin L. Blackmon of Hartsville; children, Belinda Blackmon of Hartsville and Alvin Bruce (Katilda) Blackmon of Laurinburg, NC; grandchildren, David L. Blackmon and Andrew L. Blackmon; brothers, Danny C. (Gayle) Isgett of Florence and Richard N. (Bobbie) Isgett of Coward; sister, Pauline Kirven of Florence and sister-in-law, Linda Isgett of Lamar. Memorials may be made to the North Hartsville Baptist Church, 1117 Patrick Highway, Hartsville, SC29550. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
