Michael Leonard Kester

Michael Leonard Kester, 63, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

He was born in Ridley Park, PA, the son of Joyce Ferguson and the late Gilbert Kester. Mr. Kester loved baseball, football, singing, dancing, reading magazines and cars. He loved spending time with his loving mother the most.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Ferguson.

Surviving are his mother, Joyce Ferguson; brother, Gilbert Kester; and sister, Donna Brantley.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
