Melissa Joan Pirozzi

Melissa Joan Pirozzi, 44, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Mrs. Pirozzi was born in Florence, the daughter of Edna Edgerton Poston and Michael W. Poston, Sr.She graduated from Wilson High School, Francis Marion University and Savanah College of Art and Design.She was a Graphic Design Professor with Horry Georgetown Technical College for the past ten years. In addition to her parents of Florence, she is survived by her husband, Elio Victor Pirozzi; brother, Michael W. Poston, Jr, (Jillian) of Florence; maternal grandmother, Margaret F. Edgerton of Florence; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
