Melissa "Missy" Bolger Vause

Missy Vause, 45, passed away Tuesday morning, August 26, 2014. Missy was born in Darlington, SC on April 13, 1969.She was an avid supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s to honor her late grandmother, Evander Brown. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, F.E. Brown, Evander Brown and Lucille Bolger. She was the beloved wife of Leroy M. Vause and loving mother to her two sons, Joshua Carraway and Powers Vause.Missy is also survived by her mother, Judith B. Bolger of Florence; her father, Thomas (Jennie) Bolger of Santee; brother, Thomas (Vickie) Bolger of Florence; sister, Nicki (Robert) Jackson of Florence; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. The family asks that memorials be made to the South Carolina Alzheimer’s Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suit L, Anderson, SC29621 or The American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA23060-9979.Flowers will also be accepted. Visitation will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 2400 West Third Loop Road, Florence at 1:00 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM.The family will receive friends other times at 808 Cloisters Drive, Florence.
