Melissa Bowman Greene

Melissa Greene, 55, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Carolinas Hospital System. Ms. Greene was born in Indiana, a daughter of the late Doris Wise Bowman and Donald Bowman.She was the Head Cashier at Lowe’s. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Richard “Ric” Greene. Surviving are her sons, Jason (Kristin) Greene and Jonathan Greene; brothers, Robert “Bob” (Dottie) Bowman and Donald “Donnie” (Rita) Bowman; sister, Crystal (Dan) Naugle; grandchildren, Brayden Greene, Ashlynn Greene and Skylar Greene; special friend, Tom Carter, and her canine companion, Molly. Memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
