MAZEL LOUISE DIXON THOMAS FLORENCE, SC MAZEL LOUISE DIXON THOMAS, 77, of Florence, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at McLeod Hospice House. Ms. Thomas was born in Jamaica, West Indies, a daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen E. Thompson Dixon. Surviving are her children, Beverly (Dale) Williams and Paul Burton, both of Gastonia, NC and Julett Stephens of Euless, TX; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Vinnett M. Dixon of Bridgeport, CT and Clarice Dixon of Gastonia, NC; brother, Roybert Dixon of Jamaica, West Indies. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Street Church of God, 3132 Palmetto Street, Florence, SC29501. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Palmetto Street Church of God.Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
