Maxwell K. Cantey Florence, SC Maxwell K. Cantey, 64, died Monday, April 02, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Cantey was born in Florence County, SC a son of the late Samuel Bethea Cantey and Cynthia Dozier Proske. He was a member at the Church of Sandhurst in Florence. Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Judy W. Cantey of Florence; 2 sons, K. Max Cantey (Tommy Liakos) of NY., Robbie Jason (Crystal Watford) Cantey of Hartsville; daughter, Tracey Leigh Cantey (Steven) Coker of Florence; 4 grandchildren, Cassy Nicole Hewitt, Allison Denise Coker, Ashley Danielle Coker and Steven Chase Coker; great-granddaughter, Lexi Marie Coker. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
