Mary "Molly" Smith Mcmillan

Mary Smith “Molly” McMillan, 55, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Molly was born in Lumberton, NC, a daughter of Audrey Tucker Smith and the late Elliott Smith.She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and a graduate of UNC Pembroke.She was the Medical Lab Director at McLeod Health Darlington and had previously worked for McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.She was a McLeod employee for over 20 years and had also worked for Carolinas Hospital System. She was preceded in death by her father, and by her daughter, Audrey Anne Bush, who passed away in 2015. Surviving are her husband, Jacob “Wade” McMillan, III of Florence; son, Joshua (Amber) Bush; step-children, Jacob Worth and Leanna Denise McMillan; grandchildren, Riley Perry, Bentley Bush, and Capelynn Bush; mother, Audrey; brother, Steven Smith; sister-in-law, Karen G. Smith, and mother-in-law, Joyce Stevens Long. Memorials may be made to the Florence Area Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 4808, Florence, SC29502. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the family receiving friends following the service. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
