Mary Lundy Turner

Mary “Mickie” Lundy Andrews Finklea Turner, 83, of Pamplico, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Turner was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late Dorsey Gene Lundy and Annie Bell Alexander Lundy. She was owner of Finklea’s ABC Package Store and Andrews’ Grocery. Mrs. Turner was a member of Pamplico First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lyde Andrews, William “Yap” Finklea and Hoyt Turner; her brother, Dudley Lundy; her sisters, Ann Matthews, Etta Mae Baxley and Gertrude Miller and grandson, Jamie Andrews. Surviving are her children, Coley (Donna) Andrews, Gene (Trudy) Andrews, Dan (Vera) Andrews, Ginger Yarborough, Mary (Fulton) Cox, Lisa (Van) Johnson, Judy (Derrell) Cox and Linda F. Marsh; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Pamplico First Baptist Church on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Church on Sunday.
