MARY LOUISE HILLIARD HOWLE SUMMERVILLE, SC Mary Louise Hilliard Howle, 86, of Summerville, SC passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017. Mrs. Howle was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Tom Rogers Hilliard and Mabel Floried Simmons Hilliard.She was a Contract Sales person for Sears for over 30 years, a founding member of Quinby United Methodist Church and a Republican Poll Watcher.She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, James Purvis Howle, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Margaret Elizabeth “Beth” Howle (Robert Vance Butts, Jr.) of Summerville; son, James Rogers “Roger” (Cheryl Ann Smith) Howle of Florence; grandchildren, Jennie Elizabeth Taylor and Caitlin Elise Howle; brother, William Hilliard of Tampa, FL and sister, Margaret Hilliard Cross of Hartsville, SC. Memorials may be made to the Quinby United Methodist Church, 1247 E. Ashby Road, Quinby, SC29506. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Quinby United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Byrdtown, SC.
