Mary Evans Sharpe Florence, SC Mary Evans Sharpe, 92, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Albertville, Alabama. Mrs. Sharpe was born on February 17, 1920 in Walterboro, SC to Rev. & Mrs. T.O. Evans. She graduated from Holmes Bible College and was retired from Belk. She was an active member of Truth Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, A.Z. Sharpe; son, Larry W. Sharpe, granddaughter, Hope Sharpe; grandson, Andrew Sharpe; daughter –in-law, Toni Sharpe; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Surviving are a son, Bob (Deborah) Sharpe of Florence; 2 daughters, Angie (Mike) Jones of Florence and Sharon (David) Furniss of Greenville, SC; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Sharpe of Easley, SC; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jeanette (James) Bailey of Albertville, Ala., Frances Clyburn of Columbia, SC, and Esther Doby of Badin, NC. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
